The Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) is a Class 1 Railroad based in the Western part of the United States.
Operating Area
BNSF operates in 28 US States and 3 Canadian Providences including, but not limited to, California (CA), Texas (TX), Illinois, (IL), Nebraska (NE), Kansas (KS), Washington (WA), Montana (MT), and Minnesota (MN). BNSF also has trackage rights and haulage agreements with other major railroads in the United States.

BNSF has many major yards across their system including Barstow, CA, Lincoln Hobson, NE, Galesburg, IL, Northtown, MN, Kansas City Argentine, KS, and Pasco, WA.
